Dance Projection College
Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts Practice delivered by LEAD Education Performing Arts.
This two year course is the equivalent to 3 A levels and will include training in mostly dance and will be heavily performance based.
Three core units – (450 Guided Learning Hours) then a further optional units (minimum of 600 Guided Learning Hours in total).
The study programme will be delivered by
LEAD Education Performing Arts’ highly trained professional artists and performing arts teachers within the Dance Projection College learning site, a professional, purpose-built dance and performing arts studio.
Students will develop their craft and technique by progressing their dance, choreography and performance skills through daily classes, workshops, and performances, giving them a full understanding and grounding in the backgrounds behind them whilst working on their technique. The course will be taught by a highly qualified and experienced faculty with regular guest teachers from the West End and the Commercial Industry. You can expect stimulating sessions that will help you progress in your professional development. We expect you to be committed, confident and demonstrate the passion that is needed in this industry.
All learners will be entitled to the same privileges as any Further Education learner; for example, student bursaries (if eligible), UCAS guidance, pastoral care, education support, FE enrichment programmes and GCSE re-sit opportunities (if required).

Dance Teacher Training
Whether you’re a young student just starting out, an advanced dance teacher with years of experience or a professional dancer looking for a career change, this could be the course for you! We offer a recognised dance teaching qualification from the ISTD so you can open your horizons to a much wider range of opportunities across the private and public sectors.
The ISTD are one of the world’s leading dance teacher training and dance examination boards. The qualification is a Level 4 Diploma in Dance Education (DDE). This qualification will allow you to teach and enter students in grades ranging from Primary to Intermediate in the ISTD Syllabus.
